Australian Student Visa (subclass 500)

Requirements

  • At the time of Application, you must have evidence of enrolment to study like a COE (Confirmation of Enrollment) from the Education provider
  • Provide proof of Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE)
  • Relevant score in English language proficiency
  • Enough financial evidence to support during your stay in Australia
  • Meet health and character requirements

Partners & Spouses

  • Your partner or spouse can apply for a student visa in conjunction with you, or they can use it as a “subsequent entrant” once your visa has been approved. (Please note, however, that you must disclose your partner when submitting your application, or you may be required to submit a new application)
  • You cannot add a partner to a student visa after your application has been lodged but only after it has been granted
