Subclass 482 Has Three Streams

The right stream depends on your occupation and your employer’s arrangements with the Department.

Short-Term Stream

Up to two years (or four years if an International Trade Obligation applies), using the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL).

Medium-Term Stream

Up to four years, using the Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) or Regional Occupation List (ROL).
